I am sad to report that Gretel, the second of the female geese that Rico gave us was found dead in their pen 2 days ago.   There were no wounds of any kind and all of the other fowls were fine so we do not understand why she died.  Hansel, the male, is very lonely now so I am wondering if Rico would you be open to giving or selling me two female geese?   If not, I will have to ask around for another source where I could get them? 

Hansel & Gretel never produced any goslings; which I do not understand either but we would like to try again to have our own small flock.  We are in the process of building a pond for the geese as well as a new, larger, 3-section house for all of our chickens, geese, rabbits…and eventually even a cow.
