Started the 3 days packing event in preparation for return to Mombasa.   SO grateful to have the help of Elizabeth B. and Elizabeth W for this task. Over the years I have found that, instead of filling suitcases or trunks and then holding the 50lb object, stand on a bathroom scale and try to see my feet, it is much easier to put groups of items in Ziplock bags, weigh the bags and keep an inventory of which bag at what weight goes in which of the 4-5 suitcases. Definitely a 2-person job requiring organization skills but much easier on the back….and the airport scale nerves.
