On the way home from the vet yesterday I stopped by ODC, the computer tech support office, to get an update on the LT repair. They phoned the Lenovo HQ in Nairobi and were told that the motherboard is kaput. My choice is to buy a refurbished motherboard (cost as yet unknown) or buy a new computer. I will make the decision on Monday when they supply costs but if I choose the refurbished motherboard it will take another 3weeks to get it installed and back to me! Decisions, decisions!
