My sister-in-law Christine did not survive long after the curative treatment was stopped. She gave up the fight and went to be with Jesus at 7am on Tuesday 9th August.
The final 24hours were the most peaceful she had been for months and Kim was with her when she died.
I went down to the Kim’s house on Sunday the 14th and went to church with him and my brother Paul. Standing there between them as they both raised their hands during the worship and cried tears of brokenness, I thought of my Mom and her years of faithful prayer for her children. She must be rejoicing in heaven to see this day coming to fulfillment.
