Following the bout of malaria or whatever that hit me in May, it took longer than expected to get my strength back and just as I was starting to feel ready to jump back onto the communication wheel, my laptop developed major problems. Suddenly, after no problems whatsoever, it is refusing to boot up. The screen is completely black no matter what I do…or say. I can’t do any work without it so I will have to take it into ODC today and leave it with them.   But at least I finally have my smartphone e-mail working. Now all I need are the addresses… stored in the laptop ☹.   Also, I have a weird a sore on the bottom of the ball of my right foot and the doctor told me to walk as little as possible so going to a Cyber Cafe is out of the question..
